Raves for this Razor
Great scooter! We already had the basic Razor scooter and bought this model for a different child. It has a larger footboard space and rides much smoother, making the ride faster with less pushes. The boys love them both but this one is better.
Love this Scooter!
We bought these scooters for our 4 & 5 year olds. They are perfect for them to learn on & grow with. This scooter will last them forever, and as parents we've used them as well. I like the wider foot bed. Of course the adjustable handlebars and fold-up ability are obvious pluses. Overall this is a great choice for beginner or experienced.
It's all about clearance above the ground.
I have the original smaller-wheel Razor but am much happier with the Cruiser, which I bought about a year ago. As an adult rider, I need the tallest clearance above the sidewalk that I can find, and this is it. I measured my Cruiser's clearance as 3 1/4". The new A5 Lux only reports2.5".
I measured clearance on my old little-wheel Razor, which was only 2" to the platform, less at least another maddening inch of that triangular bar under the platform which has caught me up so many times on the cracks.
The Cruiser has developed a sound at the back wheel, which I must check out, but it beats the A5 for clearance (read: safety and smooth ride) for my money. Even the xooter has lower clearance, with due respect to an obviously (one assumes from the price!) excellent scooter. Thanks.
Great Scooter
My son outgrew his tots scooter and immediately jumped on his new Razor and scooted away.
He is now 6 years old and having great fun. The construction is very sturdy and I love that it can fold up.
The larger wheels also seem to give him more balance and safety.
He has more room on the kick plate to settle his feet.
The adjustable handle bar length is great. I know that he will have fun for many years.
Great scooter
I bought this for my 6yr. old. He really likes it. Great looking and smooth riding. I like the large wheels. Perfect for this age.
